Our freezers are supplied brand-new and include the applicable manufacturer’s warranty. If you experience a warranty issue during your rental, our team can also assist you with the warranty process.

Flexible Chest Freezer Rental Payments

Our chest freezer rental options allow you to make regular weekly or fortnightly rental payments over an agreed consumer lease term, typically 36 to 48 months. This allows you to access the freezer you need without paying the full purchase price upfront.

Your consumer lease agreement clearly sets out your rental payments, lease term and total amount payable, so you can understand the cost of your freezer rental before you enter into an agreement.

What Happens at the End of Your Freezer Consumer Lease?

Approximately two months before your consumer lease ends, Lightning Rentals will contact you with an End of Lease Offer, giving you the option to purchase the freezer outright.

The purchase offer is typically between $11 and $22, depending on the product. You can accept the offer or contact our team to discuss a different purchase price. Once the agreed End of Lease Offer has been accepted and paid, ownership of the freezer is transferred to you.

Our Customer Service team can assist throughout the end-of-lease process and help facilitate the transfer of ownership.
